Dental Sedation

Relax while we work.

Nitrous "Laughing Gas" Dentistry

Also known as laughing gas, Nitrous Oxide is beneficial in calming a patient's anxiety before a procedure. It is a sweet-smelling, non-irritating, colorless gas which you can breathe.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Are extremely anxious about visiting the dentist? We can administer an oral sedative to relax you before performing any restorative dental procedure. Safe and effective, Oral Sedation allows you to remain awake and aware, but your anxiety will be reduced for any dental procedure.

IV Sedation

Conscious IV Sedation is also known as "twilight sleep". We are specialty trained to offer this type of sedation. It is particularly good for patients with strong gag reflexes, high dental anxiety or for those patients requiring multi-visit procedures that would prefer for the work to be done in one visit. IV Sedation is also used in most oral surgery procedures and requires more planning on the patient and doctor's part. The patient will be groggy after the procedure and as such, will need a friend or family member to drive them home as well as monitor them for the next few hours.

Digital-X-ray

Digital X-Rays

Less Radiation, better images.

Low Radiation Digital X-rays use 90% less radiation and provides immediate images to quickly diagnose hidden problems. We are not only able to reduce your exposure to radiation but also increase the diagnostic proficiency. In addition to increased diagnostics, we reduce the amount of harmful chemicals and other waste materials associated with traditional X-ray technology.

Piezosurgery

Piezosurgery

Piezoelectric surgery is used to cut through bone to shorten it, lengthen it or change its alignment (osteotomy). It is used for implant-site preparation, bone grafting, sinus-floor elevation & edentulous ridge splitting. It is a minimally invasive technique that lessens the risk of damage to surrounding soft tissues and important structures such as nerves, vessels, and mucosa. It also reduces damage to bone cells while permitting good survival of the cells during the harvesting of bone. Handling of delicate or compromised hard- and soft-tissue conditions can be performed with less risk for the patient.
